Hi there!
My name is Sergio Eraso. I was born in Cali, Colombia, and am now living in Boston, Massachusetts! I graduated from Emory University with my B.S. in Physics and Mathematics where I completed my thesis in biophysics under the supervision of Ilya Nemenman. I am now a Ph.D. student in the Physics Department at MIT under the supervision of Professor Mehran Kardar. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, football (the one that's played with the feet), biking, guitar, video games, and horror movies! When I can, I also love to spend time with my adorable cat back home in Michigan. Her name is Snow.

My passions are research, teaching, and mentorship
I have dedicated a large portion of my higher education career to mentoring, tutoring, and teaching students of all ages and levels, especially those from disadvantaged communities. I believe that through education, we can work towards a more inclusive and equitable community.
